Dr. Akbar K. Waljee’s work is driven by the belief that sustainable solutions emerge through reciprocal partnerships and evidence-based, data-driven approaches. Originally from Nairobi, Kenya, he has dedicated his career to improving healthcare delivery in low-resource settings by harnessing the power of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. His research systematically addresses social and environmental determinants of health, with a focus on building equitable, locally led systems that improve health outcomes both domestically and globally.
