Dr. Frank is a family medicine physician and the medical director of University Health & Counseling at the University of Michigan. He provides strategic leadership and supervision for a large, multidisciplinary clinical staff, and provides primary care and addiction medicine treatment for students, faculty, and staff with substance use disorders. He is an educator and clinical consultant for the Overdose Prevention and Engagement Network (OPEN), and chair of the Washtenaw County Board of Health. His research focuses on interventions to expand access to evidence-based treatments for substance use disorders, and community-engaged research to evaluate the impact of prenatal and newborn drug testing.
