Jess Anand, PhD

Dr. Jess Anand, PhD is Research Faculty in the department of Pharmacology. As a medicinal chemist, Dr. Anand’s research focuses on exploring the structure-activity relationships of opioids to elucidate the interactions between opioid receptors and their ligands. This knowledge is then applied to rationally design novel molecules for therapeutic use such as opioid overdose reversal agents, medication assisted therapies, and potential analgesics with limited abuse liability.
