On Friday, September 26th, the Healthy Flint Research Coordinating Center (HFRCC) will be hosting its 8th Annual Research Symposium. This event will be held at the Riverfront Conference Center and will highlight Flint-related research. The theme for this year is The Role of Citizen Science: Building Capacity, Building Partnerships.
The 2025 HFRCC Research Symposium will be a day for connection, reflection, learning, and growing. The event will include a dynamic keynote address from a national leader in public health and equity, along with brief presentations, and a poster session highlighting innovative Flint-based research. Attendees are invited to network with researchers and community experts and participate in roundtable discussions about public health in Flint; moderated by leaders in the field. The Symposium will culminate with an award ceremony honoring academics and community members who have made outstanding contributions to health-focused research in Flint.
