The University of Michigan Addiction Treatment Services is an outpatient program staffed by psychiatrists, social workers and nurses who work together as a multidisciplinary team. Services for families and those suffering from addiction include:
- Psychiatric evaluations and treatment,
- Individual, group, couples, and family therapy
- Medications to treat psychiatric symptoms as well as addiction
- Outpatient detoxification for alcohol and other drugs, when medically safe
