Expected Outcomes: After this activity, participants will be able to summarize health equity data and utilize the SUVI score, evaluate and predict the impact of stigma, false beliefs, and implicit bias on pain management and treatment services, summarize and utilize the concept of reciprocal relationships, illustrate disparities in overdose rates & access to SUD treatment (such as rural/urban, SE status, race/ethnicity), distinguish the types of language that can positively or negatively impact SUD treatment and care, and will be able to implement this knowledge into patient care.
