Take Back Day is a coordinated date across the US where the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) asks law enforcement agencies to partner with local communities to collect unneeded medications and return them to the DEA for destruction. The next event is this October and is an opportunity to share education for how to store medications at home safely and how to dispose of medications year-round.
