Earlier this month, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced the awardees for its national Health Services Research & Development awards. The Department solicits nominations annually for awards to honor exceptional achievement in three specific domains – Research, Impact, and Mentorship. This year, faculty with the Center for Clinical Management and Research received each of the three awards:
Dr. John Piette, U-M School of Public Health, 2022 HSR&D Best Research Paper of the Year Award – Patient-centered Pain Care Using AI and Mobile Health Tools
Dr. Sarah Krein, U-M Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation, 2022 HSR&D Daniel Deykin Award for Outstanding Mentor
Dr. Laura Damschroder, VA Ann Arbor Health System, 2022 HSR&D Health System Impact Award – The Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR) and updates to implementation guidelines for the MOVE! Weight Management Program
