The Opioid Research Institute hosted a student networking event on January 27, 2025 with the goal of the event being to bring together students from across U-M campuses seeking to engage with, or who are actively engaged in, opioid-related research. This event, featuring a presentation by Dr. Gina Dahlem and Dr. Ponni Perumalswami, was co-hosted by The Lookout Project, Team Awareness Combating Overdose (TACO) and the EMS Club, and had roughly 45 attendees.
